Management of complex Transformation Programs: "Navigating
Change"
Program Management is a systematic approach of defining
strategic company goals and all efforts to achieve these goals. While Project
Management is focused on achieving individual targets that should be SMART-ly
defined: Specific, Measurable, Acceptable, Realistic and Time-related, the
Program Management approach is much broader and deals with other organisational
aspects that influence the company results as well.
Typically, monitored
aspects during a Program are:
- Tempo,
- Feasibility,
- Efficiency,
- Flexibility,
- Effectivity, Goal-driven.
The progress of the
Program is visualised by means of a Goal-Efforts-Network, depicting the
relationships between the companies mission, strategic goals and all projects,
efforts and routine actions needed to achieve these goals. NAMCO's specialists
have experience in the role of Program Manager within various Programs in the
civil and defense industry.
Example of such Goal Efforts Network:
Public Private Partnering:
In a continuously developing environment, operational requirements get
stronger while budgets of operators tend to decline. This leads to new
innovative cooperation concepts between Original Equipment Manufacturers
(OEM's), MRO providers and the Governmental end-users. Partnership between
Public and Private parties, so called Public Private Partnerships (PPP) is one
of the solutions that will be adopted in the next decade. NAMCO has the ability
to provide the preparation and the management of such complex transformation
programs.
An overview on the subject of PPP,
presented by NAMCO during various conferences, can be provided on request (Dutch language)
